The man with a unique name(surya),Who since childhood was instructed by his mother to react only on his anger and fight against injustice on saturday. The reason for being a week an interesting mystery. Suriya unexpectedly locks horns with an arrognat corrupt inspector named R.Dayanand, who brutally attacks innocent for pretty reasons .

Plot

Surya, an insurance agent at NLIC, faces significant anger issues. During childhood Surya’s mother chia devi promised him that he would control his anger only on a certain day every week. Suriya chose Sturday as it was the day when chia devi passed away.

As a child Surya had feeling for his cousin Kalyani, Whom he affectionately call kallu.However , Kallu Moves in with her mother prabhavati to escape her abusive, alcohalic father Sethya, and takes on a new identity.Surya’s andger lead to rift in Bhadra’s marriage, as a result of which he breaks all ties with her and takes up a kob ad a teacher in a school. This is annoys Snakaram, who takes the resposibility of warnning Surya’s enemies on Saturday becauase Surya has a habit of leaving out those.

Charulata learns that Diya and Sudha plan to kill Koramanand in a temple on Thursday morning as an attempt to do so in the evening will be futile as Koramanand will be in a pub surrounded by many people. In response, Surya invited Coramanand as the chief guest at a NLIC event, postponing the attack until Saturday.

On Saturday morning, when Charulata takes Diya to the temple, Sankram feeds Surya sleeping pills fearing for his safety and learning about his plans from his journal. While Surya is lying unconscious, Charulata disrupts the scheme at the temple and Diya plans to attack the pub that evening. Meanwhile, some of Surya’s old enemies attack his family while Bhadra, who is now pregnant, visits them.

The next Saturday night, Diya and Sudha connect the dots and understand that Charulata was behind the failed attack on the temple because she was only aware of it. Dia concludes that she is associated with The Saturday Watchman and identifies Surya as the Watchman of the Week. Koramanand gets CCTV footage of the pub and finds out that Diya intended to kill him. Before Koramanand could work, Daya shot him dead and framed the sukulapalam’s man of the week, prompting Koramanand’s followers to attack the neighbourhood.

Surya tries to kill a young man in an attempt to vent his anger, but Diya insists that someone from Sokolapalem should stand in his way. Surya intervenes and hits Diya when a resident steps out. Residents of Sokolapalem are rebelling against Coromananda’s goons. After getting CCTV footage of Cooramanand, Govardhan killed Diya and Sudha the next morning.

In October 2023, Priyanka Mohan and S.J. Suriya joined the cast,[12] the former collaborated with Nani for the second time after Nani’s gang leader. GV Prakash Kumar and Anirudh Ravichander were considered for the film’s music composer, but Jacques Bejoy, Murali G and Karthika Srinivas were announced as music composers, cinematographers and editors respectively.

Music

The music and background score was composed by Jacques Bejoy in his first collaboration with Nani and Athria. The 12-song soundtrack had lyrics by Sanapati Bhardwaj Pitrudu, Sunare, Krishnakanth and Kartik Sachin, and was preceded by three singles – “Garam Garam”, “Salaam” and “Sa Re Ma Pa”. Technical Excellence:

The film features a high degree of cinematography. Murali ji has demonstrated his ability to capture action scenes by setting specific moods through the use of light patterns. Filming the action sequence is particularly noteworthy when the hero reveals his face to the heroine.Another prominent technical aspect is the background score. While Jacques Bejoy’s songs aren’t notable, the background music is definitely a huge plus.

The production design is impressive. However, the film suffers from a long runtime.

conclusion

On paper, Sripodha Sanivaram reads like your cookie cutter commercial cinema, in which the emotional parts depend on the emotions of Amma (mother) and akka (elder sister), or the hero becomes the saviour of the masses. But Vivek cleverly relies not only on the performances of his cast, but also on his strong technical team and mostly good writing to set his film apart. He also turns the alert trip over her head. Like Suriya, the film struggles to find its purpose for a while. But in the end, it does.
